4 Anti-aging Beauty Tips for the Skin

Aging is a fact of life, but that doesn’t mean you can’t engage in a few beauty tips and tricks to look a little bit more youthful, right?

There are gorgeous, mature women out there that are dripping with style and sass. What’s their secret?

In this article, I will cover a few anti-aging beauty tips. Taking good care of yourself can delay the appearance of age in your body and keep you looking younger for longer.

4. Sunscreen

 

When you’re outside apply a layer of sunscreen. Go for organic, natural sunscreens that do not contain toxic ingredients.

Also, make sure your face moisturizer contains SPF. The sun’s rays can damage the skin. Not only will it cause wrinkles and leathery-looking skin, it can cause skin cancer as well.

Consuming green tea, tomato paste, carrots, watermelons, kiwis, turmeric, eggs, and almonds has been shown to have some degree of protection against ulta-violet rays. Swap out your moisturizer and restock your fridge!

3. Sunglasses


When you squint all of the time, you’re speeding up the wrinkling process. Go out and get a nice pair of sunglasses. Get a fun pair that makes you smile when you wear it!

If you want to help reduce glare and reduce eye strain, consider investing in a polarized pair of sunglasses. Wear them whenever it’s sunny enough that you need to squint- this includes overcast or cloudy days.

2. Olive Oil

 

Women who consume a lot of raw olive oil have less wrinkled skin. Drizzle it over your dishes.

To be clear, cooked olive oil does not have that same anti-wrinkle effect. In fact, heated olive oil can be toxic!

Consume a few tablespoons of raw olive oil each day. You’ll notice a smooth, more even complexion.

1. Peels


Going to an esthetician all of the time for chemical peels can get pricey. There are a few products out there that allow you to do some acid peels at home.

Look for
salicylic and glycolic acid in the ingredients. When you take the time to do a peel once or twice per week you’re removing dead skin, building up collagen, eliminating pronounced facial lines, blemishes, and discoloration.

Taking care of yourself can help reduce the onset of wrinkles. All of the tips I mentioned are not too difficult or complicated.

With some conscious effort, you can achieve the youthful glow that you’re going for. Once you get in the habit of these skin care tips, they’ll become part of your routine.

In time, you’ll even look forward to your self-care regimen. It feels good to put in some effort into your looks!
